Rugby, that is the sport that made the maresmart 9495 unite! i love rugby much more than football (soccer). in fact, i not really enjoy football (soccer). once in a blue moon kut.. hahaha..
The main reason why i love rugby much more is when i was in form 4, my school had set up a rugby team known as PIRANHA and we became 1st runner up for District Larut Matang and Selama 1995 (if not mistaken). The 'victory' had 'engraved' my heart to love rugby until now.
Today, i sent BONDA to UTM for her netball training where she will be having netball inter faculty/department starting next Tuesday. All the best for u sayang..! While waiting her finishing the training, i put on my jogging shoes and jogged around started from Alumni House. Before i reach BONDA's training place, i saw a banner on the 'UTM Carisbrook Sevens, 10-12 April 2009' banner. Just a glance, i quite frustrated because i thought it was over already. forgot that today is 11 April 2009. However, when i jogged and reached the UTM Main Field, i saw a rugby tournament and i just realised, today is 11 April 2008. I feel lucky and glad that i can watch the tournament. Tak sia-sia... :D
I rather watch rugby game rather than football (soccer) game. If someone wants to buy me a football (soccer) game and at the same time, there is Rugby game and i have to go by my pocket money, i much more prefer to go watching Rugby Game. Ok, back to UTM Carisbrook UTM 2009, this tournament is opened for all IPTAs in Malaysia. i've spend time watching a few games inclusive game from UTM itself. Talking about UTM Player, i've friend named Sutiman and he was a UTM Player aroungd '98-'01. He stopped playing a rugby after varsity and recently he started join the Selangor Rugby League. All the best to him. Sutiman, I know u can do it! go shape back your 'dada'. hehehe..
Before i left, i bought a tournament t-shirt as pictured below (sorry guys, the picture quite hampeh). when u see me wearing this t-shirt, u know i'm a rugby fan, the memoir of PIRANHA is still inside my mind while the spirit is still inside my blood and i would rather spent my time even my 'ongkos' watching rugby than football (soccer). One day, i hope that i can watch PIRANHA plays again and i'll do the 'wave' again like before.
OMBAK JAHAT..OMBAK JAHAT..OMBAK JAHAT.. hehehe...
